Having a pool inside the home is usually viewed as a symbol of opulence.
As opposed to an outdoor one, an indoor pool offers privacy and year
round swimming independent of the weather. The downside here is the
sheer amount of money involved and space you need. This would rule out
swimming pool as an option for most of the folks out there.
